This beautiful black history month poster spotlights some of the remarkable women we learned about while creating our newest game, Trekking Through History. During our research, we discovered that history is full of incredible women whose stories aren't well known, especially black women.
In honor of Black History Month, we wanted to highlight a few of history's greatest females in a one-of-a-kind poster. We're also including engaging worksheets with room for students to research and write about these great women. Just give your email below to get the poster and worksheets.
Self-taught artist and illustrator Nadia Fisher created this poster, as well as the images in the worksheets. Nadia strives to help normalize inclusion in children's books and other illustrations, hoping children of all backgrounds will see themselves in the books they read. You can learn more about Nadia and see more of her work on her website or buy some of these prints on her Etsy store!
