We have a special game we're working on right now, and we're looking for a female game designer to help us out. This unique contract position will give someone the opportunity to work alongside our game studio to create an impactful game about great women in history.

The Project
We are currently developing a game on the topic of Women in History, and we’re looking for a female game designer who can help us bring this game to the finish line.
The Timeline
We’re looking for someone to start on this project by mid-March and then work at a full-time or near full-time capacity over the next few months—12 to 16 weeks total.
The Hours
We can be somewhat flexible on hours, but we do need you to have some availability during the hours of 9 AM EST to 2 PM EST as well from 7 PM EST to 10 PM EST. You should expect to put in 25-40 hours a week.
What You’ll Do
- Design, test, repeat
- Work on original designs
- Work on developing existing designs
- Collaborate with our in-house design team
- Aid in playtesting and working with playtesters
- Build prototypes in Tabletop Simulator
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a game designer
- Knowledge and experience in Illustrator
- Passion for the topic
- Enthusiasm to do a lot of testing and playtesting with customers
- Willingness to accept feedback and try a lot of different ideas
- Candor
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work independently, speak up, and lead projects
- Comfortable working remotely, in Slack, Zoom, etc.
